Heart After God
This sermon explores what it means to have "a heart after God," focusing on the stories of Saul and David. Pastor Adam highlights that God values a genuine, receptive heart over outward appearances or achievements. Saul’s downfall is contrasted with David’s faithfulness, even through betrayal and adversity. David’s heart for God is seen in his integrity, forgiveness, and devotion—especially in private moments with God.
We are reminded to care for our own hearts, storing up forgiveness and love rather than bitterness, and to seek spiritual renewal, keeping our hearts aligned with God’s purpose.
